CO2-emissie De Hoop Terneuzen 2021
5 June 2022How much gas do we need for heating our buildings, how much fuel do our (freight) vehicles consume, and how much electricity do we purchase annually? These questions are asked yearly to determine the footprint we leave behind as a company; the CO₂ footprint. Groep De Hoop has the ambition to become completely CO₂ neutral in the future. From 2010 to 2021, a 56% reduction in CO₂ emissions has been achieved.
De Hoop Terneuzen has been recording the CO₂ emissions from all its activities since 2010. The figures for 2021 have increased compared to 2020. This is largely due to an increase in activities and rising conversion factors.
