On Tuesday 2 April 2025, the doors officially opened to a fully renovated Karwei DIY store in Utrecht Overvecht. The opening of the new Karwei aligns with the municipality of Utrecht’s vision to revitalise the area and transform it into a more attractive place to live and shop.

The historic building that houses the Gamma hardware store is currently undergoing a major renovation with a strong focus on sustainability. In collaboration with Hoogvliet Supermarkets, the property is being transformed into a modern, energy-efficient, and future-proof location.

We are proud to announce that an agreement has been reached for the sale of Nering Bögel to De Hoop Terneuzen. With this strategic acquisition, De Hoop Terneuzen adds a renowned specialist in water management solutions and systems to its organisation.

A consortium of concrete plants, including De Hoop Betonmortel, and partner companies, is currently taking a significant step forward in the greening of the sector: a concrete mixer powered by hydrogen.

Our subsidiary Anker Beton delivered concrete on Friday, March 15, for the construction of 57 new apartments for Landal Strand Resort Ouddorp Duin. These gasless and well-insulated apartments meet the standard of Nearly Energy Neutral Buildings. This project marks an important step forward in sustainable living on the Dutch coast.

On Friday, February 2nd, De Hoop Betonmortel delivered the last batch of concrete for the impressive XXL distribution centre at Hogeweg business park in Hulst. With a total size of approximately 118,000 square metres and over 1,000 parking spaces, this project marks a milestone for Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
